Murtola Hemp Farm’s Hemp Waffles

– 5 dl of hemp milk (1.5 dl of dehulled hemp seeds + 5 dl of water)

– 3 dl of wheat flour

– 1 dl of corn flour

– 2 tbsp of hemp grout/powder

– 1 tsp baking powder

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 2 tbsp of hemp oil

 

Instructions

1. Blend the hemp seeds and water to make hemp milk.

2. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Add the hemp milk, including the seed pulp. Stir in the hemp oil and mix well.

3. Let the batter rest for half an hour before baking the waffles.

Serve with your favorite jam.

For a gluten-free version, substitute the wheat flour with a gluten-free flour mix.
